Joseph McCarthy (lyricist) : ウィキペディア英語版 | Joseph McCarthy (lyricist)
Joseph McCarthy (September 27, 1885 – December 18, 1943) was an American lyricist whose most famous songs include "You Made Me Love You", and "I'm Always Chasing Rainbows", based upon the haunting melody from the middle section of Frédéric Chopin's Fantaisie-Impromptu. McCarthy, who was born in Somerville, Massachusetts, was a frequent collaborator of composers Harry Tierney (1890–1965) and Fred Fisher (1875–1942). He was the director of ASCAP from 1921 to 1929, and is not to be confused with U.S. Senator Joseph McCarthy (1908–57). ==Filmography==
